Moss Mine - Project Map

Overview

The Moss Mine Project is an open-pit, heap leach gold and silver mining operation located approximately 10 miles east of Bullhead City, Arizona, and about 90 miles southeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. The mine is fully permitted and was previously in production, utilizing conventional open-pit mining methods with heap leach processing to recover gold and silver. The operation is supported by established infrastructure, including grid power (installed in 2020) and on-site water supply from wells, with supplemental water as needed.

Background

Originally developed by Golden Vertex Corp., a subsidiary of Northern Vertex Mining Corporation, the project was acquired from Patriot Gold Corp. between 2011 and 2016, resulting in full ownership. The land package was later expanded through additional patented claims.

In 2021, Northern Vertex Mining rebranded as Elevation Gold Mining Corp. In 2024, the company entered creditor protection proceedings in Canada and the United States, leading to a structured sale of its assets. The Moss Mine was sold at the end of 2024, and in March 2025, Mako Mining Corp. completed its acquisition, securing full ownership of the project.
